Hey, it’s Friday, my think-tank is empty, and it’s a long weekend. I just thought that I’d dig back into the digital archives and come up with a picture or two that I’ve never shown before. This was taken on January 15, 2004. It is the bridge that passes over Lake Worth, in White Settlement, TX … somewhere near Fort Worth.

I was on the way to work one day, saw the fog and decided to stop and get some pictures. I got some really nice moody shots.

  4. hmmmm, bridge… rain…
were you hiding from the rain…

Otherwise how is one coming under a bridge like this one.
    Beautiful pictures…

  5. That bridge shot is pretty cool in the way the converging lines lead you off to the right, but the contrast of the grasses in the water pull you back to the left.

That top one is a stunner Paul! I like the contrast and the vacancy in the white spaces and the depth that adds to the overall impression and dimensional quality. The bridge looks exactly like its disappearing into an eternity of mist and nothingness. I particularly like how we can visually discern rocks in the shallow foreground waters and then the way the tones blend into each other to form the reflection. Really nice image!
