505 Posts and counting…

Well, this is post number 505, excluding some 100+ posts that I lost back in April of last year when I accidentally dropped my database … I still think that there should have been a confirmation dialog on that particular operation: “Hey, Dufus! Are you sure that you really want to drop your entire database and loose everything that you’ve done?”!!! This whole thing started in April of 2006, some 650 days ago, when I didn’t even know what a blog was. It all started here.
I’m not doing the one post per day anymore because I don’t really have a lot to say.
I’m really surprised that I was able to get 505 posts without repeating myself too much. The posts may now come in fits and starts. I might hit a run of 5 days in a row and then nothing for a couple of days. Also, my buddy Hobbs hasn’t provided me with any ideas recently. He’s into relaxing.
As always, thanks for reading!
This is a very sweet photo of Hobbs. I like the way he is tucked under the blanket. A daily blog entry is not required!! I enjoy your posts whenever they appear and ‘Hobbservations’ (sorry I couldn’t help it) are always welcome.
Thanks, Kathy. I really like the new word, “Hobbservations”. You know that it’s going to be the title of a post one day. Be sure of it!
I agree about the daily posting. I’ve never considered it an obligation, but rather something that I like to do; however, of late, I’ve just not had much to say. It’s rare that I right something on the weekend anymore, so I don’t even try.
I’m still enjoying it, but the ideas are spaced a bit apart. Perhaps my travels this year will provide more blog fodder.
Perhaps Hobbs is trying to tell you that there’s a time for everything and nows the time to relax.

Congratulations on the 500 plus anyway Paul thats a great achievement and an indication of your organisational skills. Time is a commodity but it is also precious for self awareness.
Beautiful tones in this black and white, really like the gamut of tones in the mid range.
Hobbs is a great handle for a dog Paul.
Happy New Year Paul
Well, it’s too cold out of late to do much else. Isn’t he cute??
Oh yes, he’s certainly cute – the shot works terrific in B&W, I guess color would really take away attention from his eyes and relaxed attitude.
Congrats to post No. 505! Always enjoying them…!
