Paul – just wanted to say congratulations on finishing it. Looks great man. At first I just opened it as a normal PDF page by page (missed your instruction), then I saw the book flipper thingy. It is amazing what a difference it makes when viewing pages side by side vs. one at a time. You did a nice job with all the layouts. Looks like your hard work paid off.

Heartfelt congratulations, Paul! That book of yours is really… well, it’s simply you. The photos are just gorgeous and the whole book is really complete in itself. Balanced, calm, reassuring. It’s a joy to look at, even only on a computer screen. I’ve been through it two times now and I guess those won’t be the last…

@Gordon: Thanks, Gordon. Honestly, I’ve not given a lot of thought to the hard copy. I have thought that I’d probably have to change it a bit. I’d sure welcome the advice about the layout. Thanks!

Really enjoyed the book Paul. Beautiful images. I don’t much like picking favourites but the Tao section was the most fun for my eye.

On a technical note, have you given much thought to how to deal with the internal gutter if you are planning on printing those double full bleed spreads ? I’ve seen some advice on layout for those if you are interested – let me know and I’ll find it.

and saw you book….Absolutely Fantastic!! and to think you did this in only 30 days!!

This looked really nice. I can see you have put some thought into what pictures that goes on facing pages. Some of them connected very well, and really enhanced the experience.
