When I walked out on to the beach yesterday, I looked to my left and saw the pier, the nice puffy clouds floating by, and the moon. I knew, just knew, that this was going to be converted to black and white and that I was going to love it! 
This is just one of those that makes me forget about the others that I took. I did, however, have a pretty decent haul today and I didn’t really expect to. It was a very stressful day at work today and I really needed/wanted some beach time and this was one of the earlier photos that I took. At first, the clouds were covering the moon, but the wind was pretty high so the clouds were getting out of the way pretty quickly. When I saw the moon, I just had to have it!
Alas, no beach time today. Today is a travel day. Gotta be back in Charlotte by 8:00 PM for Tony’s basketball game!
You ever have one of those times when you clicked the shutter button, you knew that you had what you wanted?

Alas! Usually it turns out that the imagined photo and the photo I actually get are not the same at all.

B&W works perfectly here. For some reason landscape photos with a moon and a vast sky often look very pristine in Black and White. I like that…
