Summertime does seem to slow things down a bit in the blogosphere. The number of visitors seems lower...especially on the weekends...no big surprise there. I've been crazy busy so gettng around to visit is a chore at times. I don't want it to be a chore because I love to see what is new and exciting.

We've had a really really cool summer so far in the NY area. I've not had the AC on even once. Today I turned on the ceiling fan in my office and between that and the pleasant breezes coming through the windows it is just perfect. We had a lot of rain in June but so far July seems to be on a high note...gorgeous!

And I thought I was in the minority when it comes to summer's heat zapping creativity. Good to know I am in good company.

I don't miss that heat combined with humdidity. I remember it well from living in central Texas all those years. We certainly don't deal with the humidity here, but occasionally have days hot enough to keep me inside.

Those morning walks sound both ambitious and smart. I should find the discipline.

I suspect that there are many of us who will be quieter than usual for the next couple of months. We could probably use the opportunity for recharging.

Yes, it's summertime, all right. Not much going on here on my side of the hemisphere either. A few weeks of vacation will not make it any better, I'm afraid; I will most probably stay offline most of the time. I think this is good for creativity too, to turn off everything and go totally analog. :)

Pretty nice here in the NW Paul except for sunrise at 4:30am and sunset at 9:30pm. At least we are finding out what dry is. Sounds like you need a road trip.......
101 degrees would kill most of us off real quick.
