A dogs life

Pedro and Hobbs

“A really companionable and indispensable dog is an accident of nature. You can’t get it by breeding for it, and you can’t buy it with money. It just happens along.” – E B White, The Care and Training of a Dog

It’s a tough life, but someone has to live it. Hobbs had a number of cute poses this weekend, so with my faltering D300, I just had to capture one or two. My camera will be shipping out for repair early this week. :-( I’ll be headed to NY and it will be headed to Illinois!

@Laurie: Thanks! Hobbs and Pedro just seem to get into these situations. :-) Pedro’s always holding Hobbs and Hobbs has no problem with that, regardless of how he’s held or laid upon.

I’m glad that the D300 let me have a couple of more shots before completely giving up the ghost! Well, it’s in the hands of FedEx and on its way to be repaired!

That is a great capture–as I was opening this, we were laughing at one of my dogs who is snoring louder than I’ve heard any human being ever snore. What would we do without them! Lol. Thanks for sharing.

Best wishes for the D300, I’m sure it will return fit as a fiddle.
