I've not used mine for sports so now you have me thinking (again). I enjoyed seeing action shots as well as hight school sports. That was a fast sell! I'm glad that everything worked out well for you. I have done the slow shutter and the panning and really like the effects of it. As you correctly noted, the D300 is the right tool for the job as far as sports shooting and mixed lighting situations. It hardly ever misses! @Tom: Wow! That was a fast sell! Try dragging your shutter and panning with Tony, I'd be interested in seeing the results. Sold my entire RZ67 system, paid a late mortgage bill and got the Contax 645 with the 80mm f/2 planar for next to nothing. So much happyier with this as the rz was just too heavy. That D300 looks bang on for these sport shots. Really works with gym lighting, huh? NICE. Good luck this year.
