This morning, I was enjoying the light and the warm weather during my walk. Suddenly, I realized that it was May 1st! Yes! May 1st. Where did the time go? Tony is finishing his up his first year of college and will be returning home. It’s been almost a year since I went to Australia. My goodness, I remember writing about my excitement about going! Many of us sit upon the precipice of summer … well most of us, except those who live in Webster, NY (Where life is worth living), who cannot seem to get rid of the snow! You know who you are!
Well, I have another trip planned in two weeks. That short cruise that I was talking about to The Bahamas, but I’m sure that in two blinks of an eye I’ll be there and back, wondering where the heck the time went. Time sure can get away if you don’t pay attention.
Wow!

I also can hardly believe it is already May. Time does seem to slip when we are truly living in the present moment. And, Paul, I think you do a good job of that. Ah, the Bahamas. Sounds like another great place to spend a bit of time, see all you can and share about it. Have fun, my friend.

Monte: I’ve never been to Freeport, so this will be a new adventure, even if it is a brief one. Gotta be thankful for any time that I’m granted, to be sure! For, as it is said, tomorrow is not promised, or make hay while the sun is shining!
The Chamber of Commerce of Webster thanks you for the plug, Paul. We may even be head for a couple of days where there is no jacket required – low 70s but with rain possible. A more typical May day in Upstate NY. I agree the time has flown fast by and my list of Winter projects is not completely checked off.
BTW, I really like the color and tones in the photo.

Actually, Ken, I think that they owe thanks to you more than to me. You see, you’ve embedded that phrase, indelibly, into my brain. There’s an association any time that I hear “Webster, NY”.
Thanks for the compliment on the photo. I walk past this small group of landscaped trees and rocks nearly every morning and they always have such interesting shadows and sunlight dapples. So much so that when I get my house, I will have a small grouping in my backyard! I find it very peaceful.
