Hmmm. That’s odd. I could have sworn that those sweet potato vines had leaves at the ends of those stalks… That’s what I thought, but gave it no further thought other than: I wonder what happened? Oh well. Yesterday, as I was sitting in my living room, gazing out of the back door … Here comes Peter Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail … right onto my back porch. He gets up on his hind legs, sniffs the uneaten leaves of the vines as well as the habeñero pepper plant. Now, I had the answer. Damn rabbits!!! I went to the door, he saw me, crouched but didn’t run, I opened the door explosively and he took off, but quickly. 😀 Funny, I didn’t even think of getting my camera, the only thing that I wanted to “get” was rid of him!

I get it. Rabbits need to eat too, but heretofore, they’ve been perfectly fine with my grass … I’m okay with that. Just because I have some more tasty items available doesn’t mean that they are invited. LOL. Well, at least they haven’t messed with the Jalepeños! I think that I shall have to get a stand for the side-pot; it’s just too easy to get to.
