Now that the weather is cooler in the mornings, it’s time to return to the outside. Gone are the steamy mornings of summer, or at least I hope so. I see that the local stores are having Labor Day sales. Labor Day being the last of the summer holidays – the ‘de facto’ end to summer and summer vacations. The downhill ride the the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
This summer I had some work done on my patio, getting it ready for the fall. I wanted a nice place to sit and enjoy the morning, and perhaps the evening, sans mosquitos. My own little get-away. I put aside some of my traveling money in favor of making a nice place to sit and enjoy. Now that the sales are in progress, there are some deep discounts on patio furniture. Time to make that purchase. I’ll make a post after I get things set up.
Before you know it, leaf reports will be pouring in from the mountains. My, how the year has flown!
