Monte: I rarely think about it, but, for whatever reason, the story surfaced and, when I thought about it, I had lots to be grateful for – walking, I take it for granted, but now feel very fortunate that I can.

I did not know that about you and glad you shared it with us. Yes, we all have many things to be grateful for. I’ve struggled with lower back issues for the past 20 years. Things are good for ma as long as I continue the exercises prescribed from a physical therapist. Sounds like you made the best choice and will continue this walking, that keeps you healthy.

It is a good reminder and I’m certainly enjoying the renewed vigor. I feel better during the day and sleep better at night.

Yeah. There was certainly a choice, but one I could live with, the other, no. And you’re right, the gratitude for his skill and my ability to walk will be there forever, for sure.
