Since Tony graduated from high school, he’s been to school in New Hampshire, Missouri, and Nebraska. I guess that he likes to travel, too! These are not what you could call conveniently located near Charlotte. So, my number of basketball photos that I’ve taken has dwindled down to zero. He’s home for the summer, so I may get to take a few of him in some pickup games. However, I did not take these photos, they were provided by Demil…

© 2013 Graham Glover Greetings Paul! Thank you very much for your guide, “Taking Basketball Photos – A Detailed Guide”. I’m a photography student, working through the NYIP course on Professional Photography. Also, by day I too am a programmer. I must give credit where credit is due. Debra is my Internet guru. She scouts the Internet to see how my site is being received, so to speak. She found that the article that I wrote nearly 4 years ago is getting top honors on Google and today she found an article on WikiHow on how to take basketball photos. Time flies when you have a senior, especially when you have a senior who plays basketball and you are trying to help him find a place to land so that he can play his game. There are so many ins and outs to this. I’ve been constantly sending e-mails, making phone calls, talking to coaches, and we have two visits scheduled within the…

This photograph marks the possible end of the basketball season for me, but not for Tony. They start conference games on Tuesday. They should win on Tuesday by a decent margin, then they’ll play the number one team in the conference on Thursday. They’ve already lost to this team twice this season, loosing both games by 30+ points. All of the games are on Tuesday or Friday nights. Being in Charleston, I missed all of the Tuesday games, but was…
