Yes! The quest continues to meet my blogging friends world-wide. When I was in San Miguel in early March of this year, I tried to find Billie, but she wasn’t around, or either my schedule didn’t work out, but I was determined to meet her this time, and I did. I stumbled across Billie’s blog when I was browsing, looking at expatriate web sites. At the time, her blog was named, Billie’s Blog, I believe. I remember reading about her…

Six degrees of separation is the theory that everyone and everything is six or fewer steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person in the world, so that a chain of “a friend of a friend” statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps. It was originally set out by Frigyes Karinthy and popularized by a play written by John Guare. Those of you who have been visiting for a while…

This week, I am in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, or SMA. While following Niels Henrikson, on Facebook, I noticed that he was going to leave Toronto, Ontario, Canada in early December and head down to SMA for a few months, until the end of March. I contacted him and asked if he would mind if I made a visit to SMA. He said that he’d be glad to show me around. So, here I am, some 3 months later…

Combat Chuck! Regarding some people, I guess that you can just tell by their steely eyed glare what adjective you should put in front of their name! More of how he got that name, shortly. I spent a fantastic Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning with Combat Chuck, or CC for short. Chuck, of Chuckography, lives in Charleston, SC, my old stomping grounds. I first met Chuck back September of 2008 when I attended his meet-up group called: 21st Century Photography…

Colorado? Nebraska? It’s hard to tell the difference! I’m glad to be back home. Tony is settled in Nebraska. Total drive/ride time to Nebraska, 22 hours, plus 4.5 to Denver. The way back, about 3.5 hours! I’m thankful for air travel. Overall, I had a good time and I’m glad that I did it, but it was tiring. Hobbs is back with me, snoozing comfortably in his bed, a welcome sight. I took this top photo from the California Zephyr…

Ibarionex Perello Well, folks, it’s almost time to go home. My flight leaves in a few hours. It’s been a fantastic trip. It was my intention to meet 3 fellow bloggers and that I did, along with the mysterious “The Husband”, a big bonus! Yesterday, I had breakfast at The Alcove Cafe with Ibarionex. It was a great way to spend 2 hours sitting in an outdoor cafe with the temperature in the lower 70′s. We talked, of course, about…
