Unlike the dogs of Guatemala, in this post, I met some rather friendly fellows in Central Park in NY this past week. They were quite happy to have their pictures taken beside, what I assume is, their hero, Balto. 🙂 Taken with the Hipstamatic app.

I was crossing the street, about to enter Central Park, when I noticed the horses and buggies lined up, waiting for anyone who would like a ride through the park. I noticed one driver place a feed bucket down for his horse. Seemingly out of nowhere, as soon as the bucket hit the ground, the pigeons appeared, as if by magic! Within a second or less, two of them were in the feed bucket. The horse paid this no mind…

My last day in NY was a Saturday. Not my original plan, but it’s just how it worked out. So, I decided to take a walk through Central Park, some 34 blocks from the hotel, or about slightly over 2 miles to the entrance.
